My Board of Directors

My Chairman would be my husband, Sonny.  He is my rock and eternal companion.  He is logical and is always honest.  Not only does he give wonderful advice and guidance, but does so with me in mind.  We have been married for over 20 years and he understands how I think and how I approach and react to things.
I would also have Gordon B. Hinkley.  He is what I lovingly refer to as my “growing up” Prophet.  Whenever I think of our Prophet, he is the first to come to mind.  I am continually blown away by how he thinks, acts and views life.  He is eloquent, but bold.  He is loving, but firm.  He is able to balance so many amazing qualities with what appears to be, no effort.  He is truly an example of our Savior.
Next would be my Sister, Michelle.  She has lived with me for over 15 years.  She is a second Mom to my children and an extra pair of hands for me.  I trust her, I value her opinion and I knows she loves me and wants me to succeed.  She views things so differently than me, which is great.  She adds in a completely different perspective.
Then, Jeanie Irvin.  Jeanie is a colleague of mine at the company I currently work for.  She has a work drive that even outdoes mine.  She is fiercely passionate about doing what is right and also succeeding and surpassing her goals.  She will always take time to be a listening ear and we have truly developed a camaraderie.  We utilize each other for ideas and help.
Next is Courtney Rees.  Courtney is a friend and a fellow disciple of Christ.  She strives to do what is right every day and fully understands the joys and challenges of raising children.  She balances so many different aspects of her life and would be able to give great insight into how to balance tasks while not sacrificing the things that matter most.
Then would be another sister of mine, Cherise.  We have become very close over the past 10 years and I speak to her several times a week.  We talk about work, family, faith, struggles, joys and everyday life.  She is kind and thoughtful and considers people’s feelings.  She brings such a soft spirit to the Board and is able to give another perspective.

Finishing up the Board, we have Marianne Gill.  I have had the opportunity to work with Marianne for about three years now.  I was blessed to office next to her for the first 2 years.  She cares about me more than the ‘current’ work priority.  She is a trusted friend and sounding board.  Marianne also brings a unique perspective about different ways to approach things and still accomplish your goals.
